Scripture Cake

1 Kings 4:22                     6 oz. flour

Judges 5:25                     6 oz. butter

Jeremiah 6:20                8 oz. sugar

1 Samuel 30:12              6 oz. raisins

Nahum 3:12                    2 oz. figs

Numbers 17:8                2 oz. almonds

1 Samuel 14:25              2 Tbsp. honey

Season to taste with spices

2 Chronicles 9:9           Spices

Judges 4:19                   1 cup milk

Luke 11:12                      3 eggs

Genesis 19:26               Pinch of salt

Mix in the usual manner –

Cream eggs, butter, and sugar. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Thoroughly blend. Add honey. Bake 1 hour in 350* oven.
