Candy Krispies

1 cup corn syrup

1 cup evaporated milk

1 cup brown sugar

Measure into sauce pan, stir to dissolve, boil for 1o minutes over medium heat, stirring frequently (mixture will appear curdled).

Butter 1 9×12″ pan or 2 8″ layer pans.
Butter a large bowl and measure into it:

5 cups corn flakes

3 cups rice krispies

1/2 cup medium coconut

3/4 cup baking peanuts, coarsely chopped

After 10 minutes, continue boiling first mixture until it reaches a soft ball stage or 235*. Pour mixture over dry ingredients , stir, the put mixture into the buttered pan. Cool and cut.
